The care work and the social reproduction
among love, abuse and precariousness
Abstract
This paper aims to discuss care work and its precariousness based on
the analysis of the separation promoted by capitalism between reproduction work,
carried out without pay, especially by women, and production work, assigned primarily to men. The text analyzes how the entry of women into paid work carries
the marks, prejudices and devaluation of unpaid care work, understood as a natural disposition of women, a source of their precariousness
