Processes of resignification of the peasant condition in the return to the field

Abstract

Th is work seeks to analyze the process of resignifi cation of the peasant condition associated with the displacement of the field-city-fi eld led by social actors who experience the struggle for land. To this end, we mobilized fi eld work in the state of Alagoas with peasants in camps and settlements. It was possible to conclude that conflicts in this mobility appear as catalysts of collective, political and identity-based mobilization, resulting in what we named a return to the field, as they experience an epistemic and moral turn.
