Since the 1970s, the capitalist restructuring has given rise to a “new” world of work, marked by flexibilization and job insecurity. In this context, we have seen the emergence of the phenomenon of precarious entrepreneurship. This interview, with labor sociologist Dr. Mariana Busso, sought to discuss the recent transformations that have reconfigured the world of work in Argentina, addressing issues such as the role of the State in the face of these transformations, the emergence of the phenomenon of entrepreneurship in the country, the changes in labor legislation, the role of unions and social movements and the inclusion of young people in the labor market. Mariana Busso is a researcher at the Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Tecnológicas, a professor at the Universidad Nacional de La Plata, and director of the Laboratorio de Estudios en Sociología y Economía del Trabajo.
