Abstract

How do the sociability practices and sexuality performances of Grindr users constitute and make the app function as a heterotopia, negotiating the tensions between dissent and the reproduction of hegemonic norms? For methodological purposes, virtual ethnography was used, collecting data from profiles and app tags. The study is justified by the need to understand the transformations in the subjectivation of the LGBTQIAPN+ body in a digital environment, observing the tension between the dissident character of the space and the persistence of hegemonic power systems.
